"Injustice Will No Longer Have a Place in Uganda" – Museveni’s 1987 Promise Resurfaces Online

An old video of President Yoweri Museveni from 1987 has resurfaced online, and it is causing many Ugandans to speak out.

In the video, Museveni is seen speaking to a group of lawyers just one year after he came to power. His message was strong and full of hope.

“The National Resistance Movement (NRM) government is strongly opposed to having laws on our statute books which serve the interests of the minority against the majority of our people,” Museveni said.

He added, “We cannot accept any law that promotes injustice or takes our society backwards. Injustice will no longer have a place in Uganda.”READ MORE......................
